Money visualization techniques help you attract more money and <a href="http://www.selfgrowth.com/prosperity.html" style="color: #006db3; text-decoration: none;">prosperity</a> to your life. Don't worry though. These wealth attraction methods I am about to impart are easy and even fun to do.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
And there's nothing to be afraid or ashamed of. We all want to gain more money because it gives us access to a better lifestyle. If you're ready for some awesome tips to attract more money to your life, read on!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
<b>Money Visualization Technique # 1: Get Rid of the Shame.</b></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
The first thing you need to do is to get rid of your negative emotions. Being embarrassed to visualize that you're wealthy and fulfilled will only ensure its failure.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
If you want to do this right and attract all the wealth that you want, you're going to have to understand that there is nothing wrong with practicing visualization. If it helps, think about how much more you'll be able to help others when you have more money.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
<b>Money Visualization Technique # 2: Create a Vision Board.</b></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
Creating a vision board is a fun idea to attract <a href="http://www.selfgrowth.com/abundance.html" style="color: #006db3; text-decoration: none;">abundance</a> to your life. Choose the size that you want and put up images or words that connotes money. It can be something like a big dollar sign or something that tells of luxury like a beautiful house or jewelry.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
Creating the vision board itself is an important part of the visualization process. As you create your board, focus on the feelings of contentment, happiness and <a href="http://www.selfgrowth.com/gratitude.html" style="color: #006db3; text-decoration: none;">gratitude</a>. Imagine yourself already acquiring all of the things you're pasting onto the board. Once you're done, hang it someplace where you can see it everyday.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
<b>Money Visualization Technique # 3: Surround Yourself with <a href="http://www.selfgrowth.com/abundance.html" style="color: #006db3; text-decoration: none;">Abundance</a>.</b><br />

Another effective method involves surrounding yourself with money. You don't have to dress yourself in rags just because you're on a budget. You also don't have to leave your home rundown because you don't have the energy to make it look nice.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
Make your home seem like the home of someone who's already made it to the top. And no, I don't mean get yourself a loan and buy all sorts of home decor. I just want you to have the mindset of someone who's already successful.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
Don't hang out with people who complain about not having enough either. Find people who are contented with their life, and find the time to mingle with them.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">
These money visualization techniques can help you a lot if only you'd give them a chance. The results of your visualization won't always arrive in a form of money. They might come in the form of an opportunity or a person. Open your eyes and see beyond what is visible and obvious.</div>

<div style="color: #a1811b; font-style: italic; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
“What we think or what we know or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do.” - John Ruskin</div>
</blockquote>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
When you take action, not only do additional resources come your way, but you get feedback that helps you adjust your course and refine your approach.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
In my seminars, I conduct a very illustrative exercise. I hold up a $100 bill and ask participants if any of them would like to have it. I stand in front of the room, and wait until they <em>“get it.”</em> </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Usually, after several seconds, someone jumps out of their seat and rushes forward to pluck the $100 bill out of my hand. I then tell the rest of the audience that they, too, could have been the one to get the money if only they had taken action.</div>
<h2 style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 30px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
The Importance of Taking Action</h2>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
The truth is, while most of us know a lot about earning money, making things happen and bringing about change in the world, only a surprising few get to have all the abundance, glory and satisfaction this world has to offer—simply because they are the select few who consistently take action.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Taking action is the one thing that separates the winners from the non-winners…the haves from the have-nots…and the high achievers from the everyday people.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Perhaps you’ve already seen someone create a big win in their life, only to grumble to yourself, I could have done that. Or perhaps you’ve watched as a co-worker launched a new project that included your ideas—only to conclude that you stood by while they took action.</div>
<div>
<h2 style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 30px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
How to Start Taking Action</h2>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
The simple fact remains that, in life, we are not rewarded for what we know, but for what we do.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Of course, many people don’t take action because they’re fearful of the consequences. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Perhaps they feel they don’t have permission or perhaps they’re more afraid of failure than they are of success.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Successful people realize that failure is an important part of the learning process. They know that failure is just a way we learn by trial an error. Not only do we need to stop being so afraid of failure, we need to be willing to fail. I call this kind of instructive failure <em>“failing forward.”</em> </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Simply get started, make mistakes, listen to the feedback, correct and keep moving forward toward the goal.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Of course, one major benefit of taking action is that it’s a key factor in putting <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/using-the-law-of-attraction/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="text-decoration-line: underline;">The Law of Attraction</span></a> to work in your life. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 30px;">
<strong>Step 1:</strong> You have to ask for what you want.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 30px;">
<strong>Step 2:</strong> You have to believe it will come about</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 30px;">
<strong>Step 3:</strong> You have to create a vibrational or emotional match in order to receive the results when they come your way.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
When you’re in action—doing research, connecting with people, finding ways to accomplish a goal—you are sending a powerful signal to the Universe that you expect and anticipate meeting that goal or enjoying that experience soon.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
After all, you wouldn’t be doing all that work if you didn't expect to be living that new life sometime soon, would you?</div>
<h2 style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 30px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
How to Learn to Take Action: The Rule of 5</h2>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
A powerful strategy to get you in action and keep you in action is something I call <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/powerful-goal-setting-tips/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="text-decoration-line: underline;">The Rule of 5</span></a>.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Here it is:</strong></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<em>Every day, do five things that will move you closer to your goal – 5 concrete action steps.</em></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you’re self-employed, do five things to grow your business.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you want a promotion at your job, do five things a day to improve your skills and knowledge so you’ll be eligible to be promoted.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Even if you accomplish just 5 things each week, that's more than most people do in a month to achieve their dreams.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
I remember back when I was building my speaking career, I would send 5 letters a day to school districts and program directors for educator conferences for teachers, counselors and school administrators.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
And later, when Chicken Soup for the Soul was published, I would send out 5 books a day to companies who could hire me to speak at their next industry event or sales meeting.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Practice your <em>“5 Things a Day”</em> habit and after three weeks – not only will you have taken major action toward your life goals, you will have developed a new habit of being pro-active in creating your future.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<em>Without action, nothing happens. So to help you get into action, I want to invite you to tune in to <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/success/breakthrough-to-success-online/op/registration.html" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="text-decoration-line: underline;">my webcast</span></a>, which will teach you how to set and accomplish your biggest goals and create the life you want. I’ll teach you how to create awareness for where you want to go, see the big picture, and create an action plan to get there.</em></div>

Vision board ideas and examples are incredibly useful and inspirational when making your own. I've designed this post to show you <strong>how to make your own vision boards</strong> and how to use them to maximize your visualization practice!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Also known as dream boards, these simple devices are one of the most valuable visualization tools available to you. The inspirational collages serve as your image of the future - a tangible example, idea or representation of where you are going. They should represent your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life.</div>
<blockquote style="background: url("images/blockquote.png") no-repeat rgb(255, 255, 255); border: none; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin: 5px 5px 20px; padding: 25px 30px 5px 70px;">
<div style="color: #a1811b; font-style: italic; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. And when those statements are the affirmations and images of your goals, you are destined to achieve them! - Jack Canfield</div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
By representing your goals with pictures and images you will actually strengthen and stimulate your emotions because your mind responds strongly to visual stimulation... and your<strong> emotions are the vibrational energy that activates the Law of Attraction</strong>. The saying “A picture is worth a thousand words,” certainly holds true here.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
A vision board is a visualization tool which refers to a board of any sort used to build a collage of words and pictures that represent your goals and dreams. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
They can be bought from a professional supplier or made with cork or poster boards. By placing visual representations of your goals into one space, you can easily visualize them frequently. Remembering to look at them daily and imagine them as if they have already come true is one of the best ways to activate the <span style="text-decoration-line: underline;"><a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/put-the-action-in-attraction/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;">Law of Attraction</a></span>.</div>
<h3 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 25px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
How Do You Use a Vision Board for Goal-Setting?</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
The best way to achieve your goals is to keep them top of mind, so you’re always looking for ways to move yourself closer to them – and a vision board is the perfect tool to help you do that.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
By putting a vision board somewhere you can see it every day, you will prompt yourself to <strong>visualize your ideal life on a regular basis</strong>. And that’s important because visualization activates the creative powers of your subconscious mind and programs your brain to notice available resources that were always there but escaped your notice. Through the Law of Attraction, visualization also magnetizes and attracts to you the people, resources, and opportunities you need to achieve your goal.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
By adding a visualization practice to your daily routine, you will <strong>naturally <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/5-reasons-why-self-motivated-learners-win-at-life/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;">become more motivated</a> to reach your goals</strong>. You’ll start to notice you are unexpectedly doing things that move you closer to your ideal life. Suddenly, you find yourself volunteering to take on more responsibility at work, speaking out at staff meetings, asking more directly for what you want, and taking more risks in your personal and professional life – and experiencing bigger pay-offs. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
It’s pretty cool stuff!</div>
<h3 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 25px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
How to Create a Vision Board that Depicts the Future You Wish to Create</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Find pictures that represent or symbolize the experiences, feelings, and possessions you want to attract into your life, and place them in your board. Have fun with the process! Use photographs, magazine cutouts, pictures from the Internet--whatever inspires you. Be creative. Include not only pictures, but anything that speaks to you.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Consider including a picture of yourself on your board. If you do, choose one that was taken in a happy moment. You will also want to <strong>post your affirmations, inspirational words, quotations, and thoughts</strong> here. Choose words and images that inspire you and make you feel good.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
You can use your vision board to depict goals and dreams in all areas of your life, or in just one specific area that you are focusing on. Keep it neat, and be selective about what you place in your vision board. It's a good idea to avoid creating a cluttered or chaotic board… you don't want to attract chaos into your life.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Use only the words and images that best represent your purpose, your ideal future, and words that inspire positive emotions in you. There is beauty in simplicity and clarity. Too many images and too much information will be distracting and harder to focus on.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: lora, serif; font-size: 16px;">
If you are working on visualizing and creating changes in many areas of your life, then <strong>you may want to use more than one vision board</strong>. You might use one for your <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/my-101-lifetime-goals-list-and-why-you-should-have-one-too/" rel="noopener" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank">personal goals</a>and another for career and financial goals. You might even want to keep your career vision board at the office or on your desk as a means of inspiration and affirmation. Whatever you decide to do, learning how to make a vision board - and using it regularly - is the best way to <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/visualize-and-affirm-your-desired-outcomes-a-step-by-step-guide/" rel="noopener" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank">visualize your ideas</a> and dreams to fruition.</div>

<br /></div>
<h3 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 25px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
Here’s My Simple 6-Step Process for Making Empowering Vision Boards:</h3>
<h4 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
1) Create a list of goals you’d like to achieve in the next year</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
In order to visualize your goals, first you need to know what they are. Spend some time getting clear on exactly what you want your ideal life to look like, and what you need to accomplish in the next 12 months to launch you closer to your goals.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Chapter 2: “Be Clear Why You’re Here,” and Chapter 3: “Decide What You Want,” in my best-selling book, <em>The Success Principles</em><em>, </em>can help you with this process.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
You can also <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/how-to-meditate/" rel="noopener" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank">use this simple 4-step meditation technique to meditate for clarity and intuition</a>.</div>
<h4 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
2) Collect a bundle of old magazines with beautiful pictures</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you’re not a magazine reader or currently don’t have any magazines at home, ask your friends to give you any they no longer want. You should also be able to pick some up for just a dollar or two per magazine at your local thrift store. Or you could check out your local recycling depot. Ours has a “free stuff” corner where you can pick up all the magazines you could ever want at zero cost. Maybe yours does, too?</div>
<h4 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
3) Find pictures that represent your goals and inspire you</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Schedule a couple hours one evening or weekend to go through the magazines and cut out pictures that represent your goals and speak to your heart in some meaningful way. Fun tip: The last time my staff and I made vision boards at my office, we turned up the radio and had a little musical party going on as we cut out our images, which made it a very vibrant, fun setting to visualize our goals!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
When looking for images in the magazines, look for those that immediately make you say, <em>“Yes! That is what I want in my life!”</em> They don’t have to be physical objects or literal interpretations of what you want in your life. Instead, focus on how the images make you FEEL.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
For example, if you’d like to move to a home with waterfront property, don’t worry if you can’t find a picture of your perfect “dream home.” Perhaps a picture of an idyllic ocean sunset will be enough to inspire you. Or if you’d like to <span style="text-decoration-line: underline;"><a href="http://jackcanfield.com/blog/find-soulmate-using-law-attraction/http://jackcanfield.com/blog/find-soulmate-using-law-attraction/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration-line: none;">attract a new romantic partner</a></span> into your life, instead of hunting for a picture of a man or woman who meets your physical ideal, find a picture that represents love to you – an image of two people holding hands, or even a picture of a heart, for example.</div>
<h4 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
4) Make a collage out of your photos</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Once you have collected enough photos, it’s time to make your vision board! Go to your local craft or dollar store and buy a large piece of construction or poster paper. A corkboard or large piece of paper would work as well. Then glue, tack, or tape your pictures to the paper or corkboard in an arrangement that is visually pleasing to you.</div>
<h4 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
5) Add motivational “affirmation words” that represent how you want to FEEL</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Your vision of your ideal life shouldn’t be focused on “stuff” so much as on how you want to FEEL. For this reason, I like to add words to my vision board that describe how I want to feel on a daily basis – such as: “joyful,” “abundant,” “powerful,” “fearless,” “loved,” “strong,” “healthy,” “loving,” and “financially free.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Take some time to create a list of words that describe how YOU want to feel. You can either search for these words in your magazines or write them yourself. Then add them to your vision board in a visually attractive way.</div>
<h4 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
6) Take a few moments to contemplate your vision board every day</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
To get the full benefit from your vision board, it’s important for you to place it somewhere you can see it every day. I recommend you take a few minutes to look over your vision board at least once or twice a day. I like to review my vision board right before I do a guided visualization, so my goals are top of mind as I train my mind to attract what I truly want into my life. I also like to review it every night before I go to sleep, in order to prompt my sub-conscious mind to come up with new ideas while I’m sleeping on how to achieve my goals. That way, I wake up in the morning bursting with motivation to succeed – and am far more likely to notice and act on opportunities that will bring me closer to my goals.</div>
<h3 class="tc-custom-scroll" style="background-color: white; color: #165083; font-family: Oswald, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 25px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px;">
How to Use Your Dream Board</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Try keeping your vision board on the nightstand next to your bed. Leave it standing in an open position as often as you are comfortable with, and spend time each morning and evening visualizing, affirming, believing, and internalizing your goals.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
The time you spend visualizing in the evening just before bed is especially powerful. The thoughts and images that are present in your mind during the last forty-five minutes before going to sleep are the ones that will replay themselves repeatedly in your subconscious mind through¬out the night, and the thoughts and images that you begin each day with will help you to create a vibrational match for the future you desire.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
As some time goes by, and your dreams begin to manifest, look at those images that represent your achievements, and feel gratitude for how well the Law of Attraction is working in your life. Acknowledge that it is working. Don't remove the pictures or images that represent the goals you've already achieved. Achievement of the goals in your vision board are powerful visual reminders of what you have already consciously and deliberately attracted into your life.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
I recommend you write down the date you created your dream board. The universe loves speed, and you will be amazed at just how quickly the Law of Attraction responds to your energy, commitment, and desires. Much like a time capsule, this board will document your personal journey, your dreams, and your achievements for that particular year. It will become a record of your growth, awareness, and expansion that you will want to keep and reflect back upon in years to come.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
It’s a good idea to create a new inspiration board each year. As you continue to grow, evolve and expand, your dreams will too. Your vision board is meant to be kept and cherished. They chronicle not only your dreams, but your growth and achievements.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Final thoughts on using your completed vision board:</strong></div>

We will inevitably meet individuals who see life as a game. For them, life is pure fun and they will attempt to get as much out of it as they can. A person who possesses this perspective will regard everybody as playmates in this game of life. He will perceive everyone as a competitor and his goal will be to beat them.</div>
<div style="background-color: #f8f8f8; color: #323232; font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 12px;">
Having this perspective enables him to do anything and everything in order to succeed. Conventional norms and society’s laws will appear merely as game rules he will have to bend or break.</div>
<div style="background-color: #f8f8f8; color: #323232; font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 12px;">
Thus, it will not be surprising to see this individual lying to others in order to get what he wants. He will learn to be charming and will use manipulation as a standard tactic to get ahead. And if these do not work, then he will cheat but only if he won’t get caught. He will have to do this very carefully, sometimes perhaps even leaving evidence that will place the blame on someone else.</div>
<div style="background-color: #f8f8f8; color: #323232; font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 12px;">
And because life is just a game to him, the value system he adheres to will appear superficial. He will conform to what others believe so that he does not seem different to those around him. This flawed value system grants him the ability to feel no remorse for the things he does. To him, the means will always be justified by the ends.</div>
<div style="background-color: #f8f8f8; color: #323232; font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 12px;">
It is often extremely difficult to discover whether the person you are dealing with has this perspective. You may have even fallen victim to his guile and still have no idea that you did. This is because charming and intelligent sociopaths are very good at getting what they want while concealing their true nature.</div>
<div style="background-color: #f8f8f8; color: #323232; font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 12px;">
However, it is believed that their one true weakness is emotion. They will appear to show emotion but only because it suits their purpose. They may say the proper things but their expressions will seem inappropriate. They are very poor when it comes to empathy.</div>
<div style="background-color: #f8f8f8; color: #323232; font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 12px;">
If you have suspicions about a particular individual in your life, try telling that person a sad true story and see how that person relates to it. If his response is quite different from how you expect other people to react, then you may very well be in the presence of a sociopath. If this is the case<a href="http://www.articlesfactory.com/" style="color: #d44d44;"><img alt="Find Article" border="0" src="https://www.articlesfactory.com/pic/x.gif" /></a>, then he may just be playing with you and manipulating you. So it is probably in your best interest to steer clear of this person.</div>

<a href="http://jackcanfield.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/blog-5powerfulstrategies-300x200.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://jackcanfield.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/blog-5powerfulstrategies-300x200.jpg" /></a>Now that we’re into April and the first quarter of 2015 is over, it’s time to revisit your intentions for </div>
the year and take stock of what you’ve accomplished so far.<br />
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Think back to January... What were the main goals or intentions you set for yourself or your business this year? How many have you crossed off the list or made significant progress toward achieving?</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you’re falling behind schedule or finding it hard to stay focused on your big goals, here are five of my most powerful Success Principles to help you recharge your motivation and sense of purpose – and move closer to achieving success with every action and decision you make.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Consider it a spring tune-up for your intentions!</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong> 1. Practice persistence</strong></span></div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
What’s the one common attribute high achievers share above anything else? PERSISTENCE. When they have a goal, they simply refuse to give up until they reach it – no matter what roadblocks life throws in their way.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Consider the story of Admiral Robert Peary, who attempted to reach the North Pole seven times before he finally succeeded on try number eight. Or screenwriter Craig Borten, who wrote the screenplay for Dallas Buyers Club in 1992 and struggled for 20 years to get his script turned into a movie – which became a huge success and won numerous awards, including the Oscar for best original screenplay.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
You can read about them and many other ordinary people who have persevered to achieve extraordinary success in <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/products/the-success-principles/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank"><em>The Success Principles, </em>Chapter 22: Practice Persistence</a>. I encourage you to review this chapter so you can learn from their examples and be inspired by their stories. It’s a great way to reignite your own motivation!</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2. Face what isn’t working</strong></span></div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you are going to become more successful, you have to get out of denial and face isn’t working in your life. Are your goals simply too big to accomplish in the time you have available? Are you lacking some essential skills required to achieve them? Are you in denial about the amount of support you need?</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Successful people face these circumstances squarely, heed the warning signs, and take appropriate action, no matter how uncomfortable or challenging it might be.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Do you need to talk to someone? Ask someone for help? Find a new resource? Read a book? Call an expert? Make a plan to fix it?</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Choose one action you can take and then do it. Then keep taking another action and another action until you get the situation resolved.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>3. Transcend your limiting beliefs</strong></span></div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Sometimes the biggest reason we don’t move forward is because deep down we don’t think we’re actually capable of achieving or goals – or deserving of the success we long for.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you have limiting beliefs or negative thoughts holding you back from reaching your goals, take some time to identify what these thoughts and beliefs are and then transform them into an empowering belief using these four steps:</div>
<ol style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">
<li style="list-style-type: decimal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Write down the negative belief</li>
<li style="list-style-type: decimal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Describe how the belief limits you</li>
<li style="list-style-type: decimal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Decide how you would rather be, act, or feel</li>
<li style="list-style-type: decimal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Create a turnaround statement that affirms your right to be, act, or feel this new way.</li>
</ol>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
For example...</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Limiting belief:</strong> I have to do everything by myself. Asking for help is a sign of weakness.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Turnaround statement:</strong> It’s okay to ask for help. I am worthy or receiving all the support I need – and I know it will help me reach my goals faster.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>4. Stay motivated with the masters</strong></span></div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Motivation comes from within – but sometimes you need an external nudge to push you forward in the right direction. That’s why I’m a firm believer in reading, watching, or listening to something that motivates you every day – even if it’s only for 15 minutes.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Whether you’re commuting by car or train, riding your bike, going for a run, or simply find yourself with a few minutes in front of the computer, listening to audio or video recordings can give you the edge you need to excel in virtually any area of your life. You can keep yourself motivated, learn a language, learn management skills, learn sales and marketing strategies, learn better communication, learn about holistic health and more.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
By devoting more time to developing success-oriented thoughts and attitudes, you are guaranteed to reach your goals faster.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>5. Take BOLD actions to get BIG results</strong></span></div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
When you start a new project, take on a new venture, or put yourself out there, there is usually some fear. Unfortunately, most people let fear stop them from taking the necessary steps to achieve their dreams.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Successful people, on the other hand, feel the fear along with the rest of us but don’t let it keep them from doing anything they want to do – or have to do. They understand that fear is something to be acknowledged, experienced, and taken along for the ride. And they challenge themselves to take bold action, trusting that they have what it takes to handle the outcome.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
That’s why I dare you to think big – and act bigger. By taking a leap of faith in the face of fear, you can transform your life.</div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Two things you can do right now to catapult yourself toward success</strong></span></div>
<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">

<a href="http://jackcanfield.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/blog-cycleofcompletion.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://jackcanfield.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/blog-cycleofcompletion.jpg" height="212" width="320" /></a>Do you live in a state of mental and physical clutter? Do you have a bunch of unfinished business lurking around every corner?</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Incomplete projects, unfinished business, and piles of cluttered messes can weigh you down and take away from the energy you have to move forward toward your goals.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>When you don't complete tasks, you can't be fully prepared to mo</strong><strong>ve into the present, let alone your new future.</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
When your brain is keeping track of all the unfinished business you still have at hand, you simply can't be effective in embracing new tasks that are in line with your vision.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Old incompletes can show up in your life in lots of different ways... like not having clarity, procrastination, emotional energy blocks and even illness. Blocked energy is wasted, and a build up of that energy can really leave you stymied.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Throw-out all the clutter and FEEL how much easier it is to think!</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Make a list of areas in your life (both personal and professional) where you have incompletes and messes, then develop a plan to deal with them once and for all. Fix and organize the things that annoy you.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Take your final steps in bringing closure to outstanding projects.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Make that difficult phone call. Delegate time-wasting tasks that you've let build up.<br />
Some incompletions come from simply not having adequate systems, knowledge, or expertise for handling these tasks. Other incompletions pile up because of bad work habits.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Get into completion consciousness by continually asking yourself...</strong><em>What does it take to actually get this task completed?</em></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Only then can you begin to consciously take that next step of filing completed documents, mailing in the forms required, or reporting back to your boss that the project has been completed.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
The truth is that 20 things <em>completed</em> have more power than 50 things that are half-way completed.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Finishing writing a book, for instance, that can go out and influence the world is better than 13 books you’re in the process of writing.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>When you free yourself from the mental burden of incompletes and messes, you'll be AMAZED at how quickly the things you do want in life arrive.</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Another area where you'll find incompletes in your life is in your emotions. Are you holding on to old hurts, resentments, and pain? Just like the physical clutter and incompletes, your energy is being drained by holding on to and reliving past pain and anger.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Remember, you'll attract whatever feelings you're experiencing. So, if you're stuck in revengeful thinking and angered in muck, you can't possibly be directing energy toward a positive future. You need to let go of the past in order to embrace the future. Letting go involves forgiveness and moving on.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
By forgiving you aren't releasing the other person from their transgression as much as you're freeing yourself from their transgression. You don't have to condone their behavior, trust them, or even maintain a relationship with them. However, you DO have to free yourself from the anger, from the pain, and from the resentment once and for all!</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>When learning to forgive, make sure to complete the cycle.</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Acknowledge your anger, your pain, and your fear. But also own up to any part you've played in allowing it to happen or continue. Make sure to express whatever it was that you wanted from that person, and then see the whole event from the other's point of view. Allow yourself to wonder what that person was going through and what kind of needs he/she was trying to fulfill at the time.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Finally, let go and move on. Every time you go through this process you're learning how to avoid letting it happen again!</div>

dmitting that you need to work on yourself is a big step. Keep reading for a selection of proven self-help guidelines to serve as your inspiration.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Choose to spend your time with positive people. Surrounding yourself with negative people can have a poor influence on your mood and can rub off on your way of thinking.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Choose one of your most important aspects that you want to improve, and put your focus there. It may be that you have several such things which you could concentrate on, but by selecting just one, you stand a better chance of prevailing. Also, by limiting your focus to one, you allow the change to adjust your personality and become a part of your character. Old habits are hard to break unless you do so slowly and deliberately.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Reading books on the subject of personal development or self-improvement is good for you. The best of these types of books can truly give you new advice and ideas that work for improving your specific life situations and challenges. Pay attention to reviews when you pick a self-help book. The genre has some poorly-written books in it; however, you want one that has proven useful to other readers.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
One way to raise your self-esteem is to give other people compliments. Instead, do the exact opposite and treat others with kindness and respect. This kindness will make you feel better and help you to treat yourself nicely as well.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
One simple step to your personal development is doing things for the benefit of other people. Being able to sacrifice for others, and feeling joy in their happiness, develops your character. Being able to sacrifice for others and being able to get fulfillment, will help you develop into a more well-rounded person.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Learn to recognize your limits and strengths. We need all kinds of people in the world, because diversity helps us to stay strong. You should not concern yourself with skills you don't have, instead focus your attention on what you already know and bring those to the table.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
You cannot take care of other people unless you take care of yourself. Take time for rest and relaxation, whether your health is good or poor.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
For many people, faith and love are the core components of personal development. Faith is meaningless without love. Don't forget about the faith you have. Put your faith into action by helping others and loving not only your peers, but yourself as well.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
It's a good personal guideline to treat everyone with respect even if they don't necessarily have anything you might need from them. The way you behave toward others has more to do with your personality than with anything they say or do.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
An overreaction to situations is going to cause you stress that is not necessary. Learn how to deal with your stress, and always analyze a situation carefully. If you make a mistake, you can always fix it or deal with it. Always keep in mind the things that you have instead of the things that you may have lost.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
You need to figure out the things that are the most important and pay more attention to that throughout life. You will find an increased inner peace if you do not dwell on the past or negative encounters, and choose instead to think and act on positive experiences.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Having specific, written goals is crucial to successful personal development. If you hope to boost your self-confidence, include this on your list. After, quickly brainstorm a few ideas that could improve your confidence. You then want to position yourself so you can make this happen. If you do this kind of preparation and tackle the process with dedication, you will likely achieve your personal development goals.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
To grow in your own development, you must first acknowledge areas in which you are weak. Realizing your place in the big scheme of things is freeing. You will begin to understand that there are many ways to improve. Once you have fully accepted this realization, you'll seek to better yourself by learning and understanding as much as you can about the vast world in which you live.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Perhaps you have set high goals for yourself and keep failing to attain them. If this is the case, it is a good idea to stop and think why. Check online and find others whom share similar goals with you and find out what they are doing compared to what you're doing. You also might find that your goals are indeed not realistic, or that some other critical resource is needed before your goal can be realized.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Figure out what you want your life to be and do what it takes to accomplish it. If you lay around all day wishing your life was better but not doing anything to make it better, it will never happen. Take action on your dreams and do what you can to make them a reality.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
It is senseless to allow yourself to be consumed with worries. The habit of worrying is really imagining a situation that hasn't really happened and will most likely not ever happen. Take a rational approach to your problems. Think of what the worse that could happen is and how you would deal with that. Being prepared gives you the freedom to enjoy your life more fully.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Get rid of every part of your life that is disorganized. If you are able to organize your life, you will feel more confident and more accomplished. An additional benefit is that the stress you felt from disorganization will be eliminated. Having everything in its own place instills a calming energy.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
When putting effort into your personal development, assign a high value to that which is the best. Value your qualities and skills and learn to love yourself.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Stress is one of the biggest road blocks to happiness. While experiencing stress, our entire body is affected in both physical and mental ways. In order to reach your goals, the stress in your mind must be destroyed. Allow yourself a set time during each day that you can relax and empty your mind. Having a time to refresh can give you peace and improve your self-image.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
You do not need to be dealing with unneeded stress. Take time to process events before reacting to avoid creating unnecessary tension in your life. Sometimes things will go wrong. Instead of being stressed, just deal with them.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
If you know what your beliefs are, you can help plan out what you will be working for in personal development. If you go against your values, you are shooting yourself in the foot. Spend your energy and time on those areas that you want to better and that mesh well with your values. If you do this, you can make a change in your life that you will be proud of.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
You need to understand the distance between the place you are now, and the place you want to be in the future. This is the first step to actually starting the journey of where you want to be. Until you acknowledge this, you cannot even begin to move forward as these goals will help you measure your success and keep you motivated.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
If you are depressed, pay attention to your complex carb intake and boost it. If you are not consuming adequate amounts of complex carbohydrates, your serotonin levels may be lower than they should be. This can also be achieved by upping your intake of raw fruits and veggies, legumes and whole grains.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
How healthy your body is, affects how healthy your mind is. It is imperative to eat a well-balanced diet, and to get some form of exercise every day. If you want a healthy mind, make sure it resides in a healthy body.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
Getting out and living your life can really enhance your quest for personal development. It is important that you be an active participant in living your life. Watching from the sidelines serves no good purpose. Sitting back and watching will make you dull and unhappy.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
When working on personal development strive to achieve a high level of self discipline. Make sure that you develop self control skills. Beat bad habits like gluttony, jealousy, lust or greed. Controlling these desires will prevent negative impacts on your body and spirit.</div>
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 16px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0px 0px 7px;">
As you work with the tips, be sure to journal your thoughts and feelings and take particular note of any changes in your point of view. Refrain from being too hard on yourself.</div>

I have been involved in the direct selling and network marketing industry for more than 40 years. My life has been richly rewarded as a consumer, as a distributor, and as an active Success Trainer, Coach and Advisor for dozens of companies. My passion and affinity for the industry runs deep. I love the people, the products, the leadership and the culture many of companies have (and continue) to create.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Last week, industry leader Eric Worre, interviewed me at my home to learn more about my opinions and why I’ve continued to be involved for so many years. I invite you to watch my interview with Eric below to learn why.</div>

Oh, and this interview is NOT a sales pitch. No specific network marketing companies are mentioned… just the benefits and freedoms one can obtain by becoming a part of this amazing industry. :)</div>

<strong>Pop Quiz: </strong>Can success be sped up? Is there an antidote to slow outcomes despite arduous planning and actions taken? What's the secret for seeing huge results right now?!</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
I get versions of these questions frequently from people who feel frustrated at sluggish progress in their success journey - despite all the know-how and principles they rigorously employ.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Let's get one thing straight...</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
When we admire someone's success, or even our own, we often focus on the end result and not so much on the effort (and time) that it took to get there. This can cultivate unrealistic expectations, especially the idea that overnight success can happen through careful strategy and an execution of sound advice.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>The truth be told, success typically follows a series of little events and achievements</strong> that can seem to take an eternity, that include a few disappointments along the way, and that challenge everything about you to the core - your stamina, courage, integrity, and even your willingness to keep going.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
If you focus on what's not working, guess what: You're likely coming from a place of aggravation as your mind wraps around all that is wrong.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
You may even have negative thoughts like <em>"I'm not good enough," "It will never work,"</em> or <em>"Something must be wrong with me."</em></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
What this mentally does is engender more of these counter-productive feelings. And given what we know about the Law of Attraction, you attract what you are feeling. So negative experiences, people, and results will beget more negative experience, people, and results. There's not much success in that.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>The key, then, is to focus on what IS working. </strong>To do so, I recommend two simple practices: journaling and meditation.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Maintaining a journal (I call it an Evidence Log, Results Journal, or Gratitude Journal) is a great way to steer your attention to the positive and continually renew your vision for yourself.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Start each day with reflections on what you are grateful for in your life (list them out!) and end each day with notes on what went right (again, write them down), however small they may seem.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, prayer or meditation.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Meditation can be a powerful tool for arriving at solutions to problems and shifting your attitude so you can attract success sooner rather than later. The magic of meditation is its ability to essentially shut down the outer layer of your judgmental, highly-critical brain and allow your unconscious mind to take over. This is where you enter a deeper state of inner peace and joy, tapping into a higher level of creativity that will help usher in the results you want.<em>(<em>If you’re new to meditation or if you’ve struggled when meditating on your own,</em> <a href="http://jackcanfield.com/products/awakening-power/" style="color: #45a9df; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank" title="Awakening Power">Awakening Power is a step-by-step guided visualization and meditation program</a> that will provide you with a deeply satisfying experience.)</em></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Let's say you're doing ALL these things, but you still aren't happy with your results...</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
I'll ask you then, are you taking real ACTION?</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
You may be taking the actions you are used to taking. But if you keep doing what you've already done, then you'll keep getting what you've always gotten. It's a matter of practicing some <strong>new behaviors.</strong> Shake things up a bit and see if you can take new actions or modify existing ones.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Remember the Rule of 5.</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Every day do five specific things that take you toward your goal. Change up the five actions regularly and be open to feedback so you know when you're off course.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
<strong>Lastly, I want to remind you about patience.</strong></div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
It's natural to underestimate how long a certain goal can take, especially a profound one. When I set a goal to become a millionaire the year was 1983. How long did it take? Eleven years. It took time for <em>Chicken Soup for the Soul</em> to hit the bestseller lists. You could say our tenure on the New York Times list was more than a decade in the making. That's a lot of patience for someone who initially wanted overnight success.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
So, yes, patience is a virtue. But keep at it, and in no time, you'll be only one week, or one day away from your ultimate success.</div>
<div align="left" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px;">
Remember... be grateful, reflect on what IS working and continue to take ACTION!</div>

Their belief is that once their self-esteem is higher, they’ll be able to achieve more and become greater successes.
While it’s true that a high self-esteem can assist you in creating the life you dream of, the mistake most people make is how they think about self-esteem. It’s not a thing to be increased or decreased, although that is the common terminology. Instead, self-esteem is a verb; it’s the process of esteeming yourself.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, esteem means “to set a high value on: regard highly and prize accordingly.” In other words, the process of boosting your self-esteem starts with deciding that you are valuable and treating yourself as such.
5 Good Habits to Build
• Believe in yourself. The first step in creating greater self-esteem is to believe in yourself. It’s your responsibility to take charge of your own self-concept and your beliefs – including belief in your worth, your talent, your abilities, and your potential.
• Identify 9 major successes. Research has repeatedly shown that the more you acknowledge your past success, the more confident you become in taking on and successfully accomplishing new ones. A simple way to start this process is to take an inventory of your major success. Divide your life into three time periods – from birth to 15, 16 to 30, and 31 to 45. The list three major successes from each time period.
To really convince yourself that you’re a successful person who can continue to achieve great things, keep going with your list. See if you can identify 100 or more of your life successes.
• Keep a victory log. Recall and write down your successes each day. This will log them into your long-term memory, enhancing your self-esteem and self-confidence. Whenever you need a boost of self-confidence, reread what you have written. Keeping and referring to your victory log keeps you focused on your successes instead.
• Display success symbols. What you see in your environment has a psychological impact on your moods, attitudes and behavior. Surround yourself with awards, pictures and other objects that remind you of your successes. Create a special place in your home – such as a hallway, shelf or even the top of your refrigerator – to display your symbols. This will subtly program you to see yourself as someone who has consistent successes in life.
• Keep your agreements. One of the most commonly overlooked ways to boost self-esteem is to keep your word. Every agreement you make is ultimately to yourself, even those that involve other people. Your brain registers agreements as commitments. If you don’t follow through, you learn to not trust yourself. You lose integrity and faith in your ability to produce a result. Don’t undermine your sense of personal power – keep your commitments.
Increase Your Capacity to Take a Risk
To understand the importance of esteeming yourself, imagine you were playing poker. If you have 10 chips and I have 200 chips, who do you think will play more conservatively? You will, of course, because the stakes are higher for you. Two losing bets of five chips each would put you out of the game. I, on the other hand, could lose five chips 40 times before I was out.
Your self-esteem is like a stack of poker chips. The higher it is, the more willing and able you are to take the risks that will lead you to greater success. Use the ideas shared in this article to create and maintain the high levels of self-esteem you need to get where you want to be.<br />

This is to say that your attitude matters a lot. Personal attitude makes all the difference between a winner in life and a loser. It is further said that you can change anything and everything if you change your mind set. What the mind has decided the body cannot defy.<br />
<br />
<br />
Hence you must never doubt yourself if you want to achieve self development. Failure is the reward for those who have the audacity to demean themselves. If you do not value and respect yourself then no one will respect you. Thus your first step in becoming a winner in life is by admiring your strengths and knowing that you deserve the good things in life.<br />
<br />
Nevertheless, confidence and self-assurance are not in themselves adequate. You need to have a plan of action, a strategy for attaining self development. Careful planning, rationality and creativity are the irreplaceable ingredients required at every facet of life in order to achieve success in life. Not forgetting to take action in whatever you set to do.<br />
<br />
Many people fail because of not taking action. Therefore, if you have a vision and a good plan remember to strategize on how you are going to act on it. As the say "Procrastination is the thief of time". Hence you will need to do what you can today and not tomorrow if you are to attain self development. In reality 'tomorrow' never comes.<br />
<br />
In any case, the best preparation for tomorrow is by doing your best today and with the available resources. Also failure comes sooner to those who wait for the perfect opportunities since they will never come.<br />
<br />
To be a winner in life is really therefore a matter of knowing what you want and going right for it. Never hesitate to seize an opportunity; you might pay with your life thus the secret of self development.<br />

We seem to have lost our bearing & our sense of direction</span></strong></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin;">One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
He passed the first interview; the director did the last interview.<br />
<br />
The director discovered from the CV that the youth's academic achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research, never had a year when he did not score.<br />
<br />
The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?"<br />
<br />
The youth answered "none".<br />
<br />
The director asked, "Was it your father who paid for your school fees?" <br />
<br />
The youth answered, "My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.<br />
<br />
The director asked, "Where did your mother work?" <br />
<br />
The youth answered, "My mother worked as laundry woman. <br />
<br />
The director requested the youth to show his hands. <br />
<br />
The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.<br />
<br />
The director asked, "Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?" <br />
<br />
The youth answered, "Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.<br />
<br />
The director said, "I have a request. “When you go back today, go and clean your mother's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.”<br />
<br />
<br />
The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands. <br />
<br />
His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the young man.<br />
<br />
The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother shivered when they were cleaned with water.<br />
<br />
This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his graduation, academic excellence and his future.<br />
<br />
After finishing the cleaning of his mother’s hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.<br />
<br />
That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.<br />
<br />
Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.<br />
<br />
The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes, asked: "Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"<br />
<br />
The youth answered, "I cleaned my mother's hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes'<br />
<br />
The Director asked, "Please tell me your feelings."<br />
<br />
The youth said:<br />
<br />
1. I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, there would not have been the successful me today.<br />
<br />
2. By working together and helping my mother, only I now realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done.<br />
<br />
3. I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationships.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The director said, "This is what I am looking for to be my manager.<br />
<br />
I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You are hired.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop "entitlement mentality" and would always put him self first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of a person, who may be good academically, may be successful for a while, but eventually would not feel sense of achievement. He will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying the children instead?*<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
You can let your children live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, you want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your children learn how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learn how to work with others to get things done.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Happiness is the normal condition, as natural as the landscapes and the seasons. It is unnatural to suffer and it is only because of our ignorance that we do suffer. Happiness is the product of wisdom. To attain perfect wisdom, to comprehend fully the purpose of life, to realize completely the relationship of human beings to each other, is to put an end to all suffering, to escape every ill and evil that afflicts us. Perfect wisdom is unshadowed joy.<br />
Why do we suffer in life? Because in the scheme of nature we are being forced forward in evolution and we lack the spiritual illumination that alone can light the way and enable us to move safely among the obstacles that lie before us. Usually we do not even see or suspect the presence of trouble until it suddenly leaps upon us like a concealed tiger. One day our family circle is complete and <a href="http://bodynmindbalance.blogspot.com/2009/04/golden-rules-of-motivation.html">happy</a>. A week later death has come and gone and joy is replaced with agony. Today we have a friend. Tomorrow he will be an enemy and we do not know why. A little while ago we had wealth and all material luxuries. There was a sudden change and now we have only poverty and misery and yet we seek in vain for a reason why this should be. There was a time when we had health and strength; but they have both departed and no trace of a reason appears. Aside from these greater tragedies of life innumerable things of lesser consequence continually bring to us little miseries and minor heartaches. We most earnestly desire to avoid them but we never see them until they strike us, until in the darkness of our ignorance we blunder upon them. The thing we lack is the spiritual illumination that will enable us to look far and wide, finding the hidden causes of human suffering and revealing the method by which they may be avoided; and if we can but reach illumination the evolutionary journey can be made both comfortably and swiftly. It is as though we must pass through a long, dark room filled with furniture promiscuously scattered about. In the darkness our progress would be slow and painful and our bruises many. But if we could press a button that would turn on the electric light we could then make the same journey quickly and with perfect safety and comfort.<br />
The old method of education was to store the mind with as many facts, or supposed facts, as could be accumulated and to give a certain exterior polish to the personality. The theory was that when a man was born he was a completed human being and that all that could be done for him was to load him up with information that would be used with more or less skill, according to the native ability he happened to be born with. The theosophical idea is that the physical man, and all that constitutes his life in the physical world, is but a very partial expression of the self; that in the ego of each there is practically unlimited power and wisdom; that these may be brought through into expression in the physical world as the physical body and its invisible counterparts, which together constitute the complex vehicle of the ego's manifestation, are evolved and adapted to the <a href="http://bodynmindbalance.blogspot.com/2009/04/golden-rules-of-motivation.html">purpose</a>; and that in exact proportion that conscious effort is given to such self-development will spiritual illumination be achieved and wisdom attained. Thus the light that leads to happiness is kindled from within and the evolutionary journey that all are making may be robbed of its suffering.<br />
Why does death bring misery? Chiefly because it separates us from those we love. The only other reason why death brings grief or fear is because we do not understand it and comprehend the part it plays in human evolution. But the moment our ignorance gives way to comprehension such fear vanishes and a serene happiness takes its place.<br />
Why do we have enemies from whose words or acts we suffer? Because in our limited physical consciousness we do not perceive the unity of all life and realize that our wrong thinking and doing must react upon us through other people a situation from which there is no possible escape except through ceasing to think evil and then patiently awaiting the time when the causes we have already generated are fully exhausted. When spiritual illumination comes, and we no longer stumble in the night of ignorance, the last enemy will disappear and we shall make no more forever.<br />
Why do people suffer from poverty and disease? Only because of our blundering ignorance that makes their existence possible for us, and because we do not comprehend their meaning and their lessons, nor know the attitude to assume toward them. Had we but the wisdom to understand why they come to people, why they are necessary factors in their evolution, they would trouble us no longer. When nature's lesson is fully learned these mute teachers will vanish.<br />
And so it is with all forms of suffering we experience. They are at once reactions from our ignorant blunderings and instructors that point out the better way. When we have comprehended the lessons they teach they are no longer necessary and disappear. It is not by the outward acquirement of facts that men become wise and great. It is by developing the soul from within until it illuminates the brain with that flood of light called genius.<br />

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> Everyone has suffered from stress at least once. If you remember your palms becoming sweaty before an interview, experiencing headaches when thinking of your last work problem, or having stomach disorders because your test exams are approaching, these can be categorized as instances of stress related to physical malfunctions that have caused you to loose sleep and reduced your performance levels. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> Regardless of the age group one belongs, stress is considered today to have an extremely dramatic impact on the human immune system. That is because stressful situations that have and extensive duration affect the hormones of the human body, which in turn direct affect the human immune system. Cases of chronic constipation, migraines, acne breakouts, upper respiration infections, colds, ulcers, and even more serious health problems like diabetes, heart diseases, and certain types of cancers, can be linked, according to scientists, to prolonged periods of stress. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> But do not get despaired. Although stress cannot be eliminated, social scientists, psychologists, and doctors, agree that stress can be controlled and people that are able to give themselves another chance can live healthier lives. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> <strong><span style="font-size: large;"> <u><span style="color: lime;">Exercise:</span></u></span></strong><span style="color: lime;"> Known for its tension relieving outcomes, a steady exercise problem can help people reduce their stress levels. A calm evening walk or a more dynamic type of exercise, like an aerobic class, can help a stressed individual get rid of the tension and the anxiety that are caused by stress. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: cyan;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;"><u>Sleep:</u></span></strong> Give your body and mind the opportunity to rejuvenate naturally during sleep. Although people under stress experience difficulties in sleeping the appropriate hours needed, experts support that sticking with a steady sleeping plan and going to bed every night around the same time, avoiding heavy food or caffeine drinks, can help a person fall asleep and lower his stress levels. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><strong><u><span style="font-size: large;">Breath</span>:</u></strong> Learn how to breathe properly and practice it frequently. Deep breathing exercises can help the brain and body reconsider the parameters of a stressful situation and readjust to the experience. Inhale air from the nose and exhale it from the mouth after holding it for five seconds. In the meantime clear your mind and concentrate on a pleasant thought. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;"><u>Avoid:</u></span></strong> Try to avoid consuming caffeine substances and never take it out on yourself. Caffeine can prolong the stress period and since it is a stimulator you can experience problems in sleeping or breathing. Moreover, by blaming yourself and your luck you are not concentrating on solving an issue but rather on prolonging the distress and the anxiety you feel. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: purple;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><u><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Don't panic</span></strong>:</u> Although it is common to let your feelings go wild when upset, try to focus on what you feel and act as if that was your main problem so as to solve it. Listening to music, breathing properly, writing a journal, exercising, going out, or doing whatever you think is appropriate can put you in a better mood. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ea9999;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;"><u>Talk:</u></span></strong> People surrounding you are not indifferent to your problems. Stop treating them as if they were. Speak about what worries you and ask for their help. Even the fact that someone will listen and offer another perspective can be enough for you to see another ankle of the issue and work towards its solution. </span></span><br />

I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this:<br />
<br />
<br />
“You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love.”<br />
<br />
This was how I saw it:<br />
<br />
As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it find. This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love…they try to posses it, they demand, they expect… and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you. For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.<br />
<br />
Give and don’t expect.<br />
<br />
Advise, but don’t order.<br />
<br />
Ask, but never demand.<br />
<br />
It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring.” Passing thought… Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away…..<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
As humans, we have the ability to create a thought process after feeling an emotion. It is what happens within those after thoughts that determine if you consider a feeling to be good or bad. After your initial judgment has been made, your mind believes it to be true and continues to create even more of it. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Surely you have heard the old adage, “People are not born with an instruction manual”. Although this may be true, our feelings are the closest thing you can get.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Unfortunately, because of this missing manual, we have learned to misuse our inner compasses. We have gotten lost in the endless stream of thoughts that are being created by our emotions. Depression and darkness, both within and around us has spiraled out of control in the wake of all our confusion. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
But after all, it’s not our fault, right? If there were no teacher, how could we learn? Emotions 101 was not on the roster when I went to school.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
As history unfolds, we are witnessing the evolution of mankind and in that; we are writing this manual that generations to come will so desperately need.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
There is no excuse these days to continue to be ignorant of our feelings and our reactions to them. With access to the internet you can learn about whatever it is that your little heart desires, within moments. The small world of Quantum Physics alone has been throwing open countless doors that have been nailed shut to us for years. Doctors and scientists alike are being amazed daily as they continue to dive into the unknown. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
But before we can truly master our universe, we must first master ourselves. <br />
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
The biggest mistake in the mainstream belief system today is that we are the product of our environment, when the opposite actually holds true. We create the world we share from the inside out, not from the outside in. Believing this statement then would conclude why we are all seeing so much hatred and chaos in the streets, it’s only a mirror of our very own confused, collective minds.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
We live and experience life in a world of opposites. We would not know light if we didn’t first know dark, we would have no good if there were no such thing as bad, no sweet if it weren’t for the sour, no up or down, no left or right…people need a comparable for life to make any sense.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
When it comes to emotions, we have learned to stuff them, keep them hidden away for nobody to see, sometimes not even by you. Not dealing with our negative feelings was a survival technique in a world of thieves and evil. But as our world changes we are beginning to see a better way, the opposite way, to feel and use our emotions to help us grow.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Humans have been doing unimaginable harm with the art keeping their feelings under lock and key. Instead of wasting so much energy trying NOT to feel our feelings, we should be experiencing them. After all, we have them for a reason. How did we ever miss that? <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
We are all born with the ability to feel emotions, so why do we spend most of our days trying to avoid them? Our true power actually lies in the feeling, using them to our benefit or deciding to release them if we determine they are unwanted. Free will points to this truth, we always have choices no matter what.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
We have to take responsibility for ourselves if we ever want to survive as a species. When we do learn how to constructively use our emotions as a positive navigation system, then and only then will there be hope for us to do what we came here to do.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
There are many practices out there that help people everyday learn about their own emotions, how to deal with them, how to change them, how to understand them and what they are trying to tell you. Most importantly of all, we must understand how to let them go.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Our emotions and feelings are a type of energy system. The longer we hold on to and analyze them, the more energy we add to them. The key is to feel that energy system the moment it occurs, and decide whether you want to expand on them or to let them flow out of you, verses carrying all of them around with you like luggage.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The secret to ‘finding yourself’ isn’t in where you have traveled or the people you know, or even in the books you read. Finding yourself is to look right under your own nose, to your heart. Look within and find all the peace, harmony and joy you can ever imagine. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
We are all here to experience the joy of life as it unfolds – the rewards are not hidden at the destination, they are found throughout the Journey itself. <br />

<br />
In the latter half of the 1800s, when the telegraph was still "high tech," a young man in Baltimore, Maryland, woke up one summer morning giddy with excitement. In fact, it had taken him half the night to get to sleep at all.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Today was the day he'd apply for his first job! But what was really exciting was that, if he were lucky enough to be chosen for the position, he'd actually be getting PAID for something that absolutely enthralled him. He'd be a real, bona fide telegraph operator!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
His mind was so filled with wonderful pictures of himself sending and receiving important messages, communicating with people miles away — even clear across the country — that the possibility of NOT getting the job couldn't get a foot in the door.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
He didn't even mind wearing a stiff collar and tie. After all, this was an important job, and he liked the idea of looking the part. Giving his shoes one last buffing, he dashed out the door and raced downtown to the telegraph office.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Inside, the office was already bustling with activity and noise, including the sound of the telegraph clattering away in the background. Several other applicants were seated in the waiting area, hunched over paperwork. Our young man saw a stack of job applications with a sign instructing candidates to take one, fill it out, and then wait to be called into the Director's office for an interview. So he eagerly grabbed one and sat down.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The form itself took only a few minutes to complete, and as he finished and started to look around at the other job hopefuls in the room ...<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
... the young man suddenly jumped from his chair and with his paperwork in hand, marched over to the Director's office door and went right in without even knocking!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"Did you see that?" one of the other jobseekers snorted. "We're supposed to wait until we're called, and that rube barges in like he owns the place."<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"Yeah, that's some nerve, but it just cuts down the competition," said another, and they all laughed.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Moments later the laughter and comments stopped as the Director's door opened and both he and the beaming young man came out into the waiting area.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"Gentlemen," the Director said, "thank you for coming, and I wish you all well. The job has been filled."<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Stunned into silence, no one said anything for a moment. Then, the fellow who had started the derisive comments sputtered, "Now wait a minute. This isn't fair! We were here first but we never even got a chance, and he gets the job just like that?"<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The others grumbled in agreement, but the Director put up his hand. "Here's the thing," he said.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"All this time you were sitting here, the telegraph has been clicking away, saying: 'If you can understand this, come on into the office right now. You've got the job.'<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
As he clapped his hand on the young man's shoulder, he smiled broadly and said, "This young fellow was the only one of you who heard or understood the message."<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Why did this young man alone hear and understand the message?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Listen to what Scottish psychologist R. D. Laing had to say on this subject:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change — until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds."<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
You'll probably need to read that a couple of times. (I sure did!) Then just let it sink in a bit.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now, wouldn't it be great if you could just put on a special pair of glasses that would magically cause all the opportunities that come your way every single day to stand out from all the background "noise?" To jump into sharp relief against what Mr. Wattles calls "mere appearances" so that you could notice them?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Just imagine that for a minute. Everything looks normal one moment — all the everyday hassles, the BIG problems, the regular stresses and frustrations, and so on. Life going on all around, as usual.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
And then you put on your magic specs (which, by the way, are extremely cool and you look fabulous in them!), and — wow! — the entire world looks SO different!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Suddenly you see connections you hadn't noticed before. Suddenly what previously looked like a HUGE problem you were trying to put off dealing with has magically morphed into a lucky break.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
And people look different, too — even some of the grumpy, disagreeable ones are starting to shape up.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Yeah, wouldn't it be great if you could do that?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Well, you can!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
And you don't need magic glasses any more than the young man in our story above needed a special hearing aid.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Why did he, and he alone, hear opportunity knocking?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
It couldn't be because he was the only one interested in the job. There were other applicants sitting there with him.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
It couldn't be because he was the only one who knew Morse code. After all, it was a telegrapher's job they were after.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
It couldn't be because he was more experienced. This was his first job.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
And it wasn't for any of those other reasons Mr. Wattles tells us don't really matter (right there in Chapter 2).<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Have you figured out why our hero heard the message? Well, here's a clue from Wallace Wattles in his amazing 1910 forgotten classic, The Science of Getting Rich:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"Contemplate your picture in your leisure hours until your consciousness is so full of it that you can grasp it instantly. You will become so enthused with its bright promises that the mere thought of it will call forth the strongest energies of your whole being."<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Bingo! There it is!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
His mind was so filled with his clear mental image of himself as a telegraph operator that he could see, hear, smell, and taste that "image." He really wanted it and could vividly imagine himself having it. It was REAL to him — as real as if it were already true.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
And it called forth the strongest energies of his whole being. It allowed him to hear what others couldn't.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
When your mind is so focused in this way, you are STRONGLY impressing your image on the Formless and causing that image to move toward you, to move into physical reality. You become so attuned that your senses are heightened and your awareness expands. You can see and hear and notice things that totally escaped you before.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Did you know your brain even has a special area that handles this whole area of "noticing?" It's called the Reticular Activating System (RAS), and part of what it does is cause you to notice things that were ALWAYS there before unnoticed until you somehow clue it in about what to start noticing.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
For example, did you ever get a new car (or even just think a LOT about getting one) and then it suddenly seemed that EVERYONE must have just bought one? Suddenly, that very same model — even the same color — is showing up EVERYWHERE?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
That's the RAS at work.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
It's filtering all the zillions of messages your five senses are constantly passing along and deciding which ones are important — important enough for you to consciously notice. (It's determining also what goes into your subconscious mind where the belief system that runs your life is built.) And one way you "program" your RAS to send up a "hey, look at this!" signal is by what you focus on by CHOICE.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
It's what we're referring to when we say that what you see around you depends on what you're looking for — in experiences, circumstances, in other people, and on and on. And it works just as well when you put your focus, faith, and feeling on what you do NOT want, too. It's totally neutral, and it's on the job in your every waking moment.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
With a new car, of course, the novelty wears off fairly soon, your interest fades, and so the RAS stops signalling you to notice all the lime green Volkswagen Beetle convertibles whizzing by.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
But when you follow Wallace Wattles' advice, you're giving the RAS steady instructions to keep its radar going. And the result is like wearing those magic glasses:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"Imagine an environment and a financial condition exactly as you want them, and live all the time in that mental environment and financial condition until they take physical shape.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"See the things you want as if they were actually around you all the time. See yourself as owning and using them. Make use of them in imagination just as you will use them when they are your tangible possessions.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
"Dwell upon your mental picture until it is clear and distinct, and then take the mental attitude of ownership toward everything in that picture. Take possession of it, in mind, in the full faith that it is actually yours. Hold to this mental ownership. Do not waiver for an instant in the faith that it is real."<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
When you do this, when you enthusiastically and steadily hold your vision — like the young man in our story — you'll be amazed at what you start to notice and astonished at how you seem to hear and see wonderful opportunities where others do not!<br />
<br />

By Ellesse Chow If you’ve ever watched The Secret, were you overwhelmed when John Assaraf recapped his story of using a Vision Board to manifest his dream house? And if you’ve caught Oprah Winfrey’s special feature on The Secret, were you intrigued on how a simple Vision Board could have helped Lisa Nichols achieve her seemingly ambitious goal of appearing on the show to tell her life experience?<br />
Well, I certainly did. In fact, after watching the shows, I kept pondering about the possibility of creating a Vision Board for myself.<br />
One day, while checking my Google feeder for my daily reading on blogs that I subscribe to, I came across a new update by Steve Pavlina on his group Million Dollar Experiment. The total amount of money manifested by 1169 participants has reached a record level of $4,000,000! Now, I love experiments. So, reading the update bounced off another interesting idea on me. Why don’t I start a trial on creating my own Vision Board, relate my experience with it and invite people to join me in the same endeavour? At the end of day, I hope this trial will serves as a simple encouragement and blueprint for anyone eager to ignite a change in their lives. Myself included.<br />
<br />
The more I thought about it. The more excited I got.<br />
<br />
What’s a Vision Board?<br />
<br />
A vision board is a just a collage of pictures cut out from magazines or other periodicals to help you visualize stuff associated with your goals.<br />
For example, if it’s your goal to earn a monthly passive income from dividends via your investment portfolio, you can pin up an old copy of your bank statement and doodle it such that you see a monthly credit deposit into your bank account. If it’s a svelte body that you’re hankering after, you can paste pictures of models with similar figures. If it’s an ideal partner that you’re seeking, you can cut out pictures of people with potential attributes that you’re looking for.<br />
Basically, the idea is to construct a physical image of what you perceive life will be like if you’ve accomplished your goals and review this on a daily basis (or as many times as you think it’s necessary) intently. It’s not exactly the number of times you review it, but rather the emotions or feelings when performing this routine. You can look at the board ten times a day, for the sake of reviewing it but if it’s just an empty stare, you get what you put in. An empty result.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
The Vision Board Experiment<br />
<br />
For the next couple of months, I’ll record my process to see how a vision board helps to accomplish the goals that I’ve set for the years ahead.<br />
Before I start with actually making the vision board and maintaining my routine to review it continuously, I figure it’ll be fair for me to recap my status in different areas so that there’re points for comparison later when I report my results. For the purpose of this experiment, I’ll be selecting only 5 main sections from those stated in the Past, Present and Future Review worksheet (included in my f.ree Goal Setting Tutorial), for recap. They’re<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
■Health & Fitness<br />
<br />
■Living Environment<br />
<br />
■Social Activeness<br />
<br />
■Career Development<br />
<br />
■Financial Wealth<br />
<br />
Why only these 5 areas? Well, because I’ve narrowed these to be relevant to the goals that I’ll be putting down on my vision board! I’m going to allow the visualization to work naturally and hence the results recording will correspond with this frequency. So, please feel free to visit Goal Setting College to check on my progress. You can also subscribe to the site.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
How Can You Participate?<br />
<br />
If you’ll like to join me in my experiment, you’re more then welcome to do so! You can join privately by using the materials provided as a blueprint for you to construct your own Vision Board. It’ll be great if you can share with me your results with it so that we’ll continuously keep each other motivated. Alternatively, if you’ll like to publicly record your Vision Board experience on your website or blog, I’ll be glad to link to your site so that all our readers get to witness the power of the Vision Board!<br />

Having excessive debt can damage your health and relationships and will keep you poor, so it is important to know how to keep it under control.<br />
Debt Control - The Basics<br />
You cannot control your debts if you don't know what they are. Record all of your debts in one place with amount outstanding, repayment amount, interest rate, and time to repay. You can use this information to help you to decide which of your debts to pay off first.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
You cannot plan to pay off your debt if you don't understand how much you earn and how much you spend each month. Use your bank statement to write down a complete list of everything you earn and spend in a month. This will help you to see if you are able to pay off your debt on your current income.<br />
If you feel that your debt situation is getting out of control then seek the advice of a reputable debt organization, preferably a charity or a company that gives initial consultations free. One thing that you must not do if you are in this situation is nothing (and another is taking on more debt). Delay can make things much worse and make the job of resolving your debt situation far worse when you eventually have to face it (which you inevitably will).<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Like any muscle, your brain benefits from a regular workout<br />
<b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">3. Memorize something daily.</a></b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Take one item you usually need to look up. It could be a friend's telephone number, a reference code at work, or the date of a special anniversary.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Memorize it by repeating it to yourself 7 times. Then recall it several times throughout day and the next day too. It's true.)</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">5. Take a different route to work.</a></b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">You'd be surprised how often you take exactly the same route. (And I do mean ‘exactly'.) This can lead to living your life on autopilot and seriously limiting your mental potential.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">You need to break out of the rut!</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Even a slight change to your normal route can help your brain make new mental connections. This is turn will do wonders for your creativity.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">6. Exercise in the fresh air.</a></b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Your brain needs oxygen. Make sure you get some by allocating time every day for some healthy walking in the clean fresh air.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Stop along the way and try some gentle deep breathing, driving more oxygen into your lungs and onwards to your brain.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">7. Read a book on a topic you'd never choose.</a></b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Read (or at least scan through) one book a month on a topic that has never interested you. You'll be amazed what you can learn when you step outside your familiarity zone.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">8. Join a foreign language class.</a></b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Foreign languages offer excellent practice to both sides of the brain. You get to exercise your memory, your imagination and improve your language skills too.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">9. See things from other people's point of view.</a></b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Emphasize with other people. When you're listening to somebody, try to mentally step outside of yourself and truly see the topic from that person's perspective.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><b><a href="http://1e5deixhly-klmmaynzngh6t4r.hop.clickbank.net/">10. Visualize something for 3 minutes</a>.</b></div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Don't think you can visualize? Then try a little experiment by answering the following questions:</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">(a) What color is the front door of your home?</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">(b) Is the handle on the left or right-hand side of the door?</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">(c) When you open the door, what do you see inside your home?</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">You can visualize. Imagine yourself walking around it, moving through it. Really notice all the details. Try to ‘feel' the surfaces as you move around, and hear any sounds in the place too.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">You know what they say: "All great things begin in the mind." <br />
Throughout the world, <a href="http://ab60ben8iz-gndl65fhdgeqpbj.hop.clickbank.net/">Brain</a>, mind, soul and consciousness are used interchangeably during conversations. <a href="http://ab60ben8iz-gndl65fhdgeqpbj.hop.clickbank.net/">Brain</a> is the most vital physical organ in the body and is like a master computer. Mind is subtle body that operates through brain and five sense organs. Thoughts, emotions, ego, memory, sensations, reasoning, logic, desires operates through mind. Soul is human essence, your sense of self and operates through mind; and it is behind: I am what I am. Consciousness is unconditioned awareness that transcends time and space. It also operates through mind, infinite, immaterial, immortal, instrument for salvation. It is the universal principle, pervading the entire world of nature and no scientist can reproduce, test, reproduce or understand.<br />
<a href="http://ab60ben8iz-gndl65fhdgeqpbj.hop.clickbank.net/" target="_top">Click Here!</a><br />
<a href="http://ab60ben8iz-gndl65fhdgeqpbj.hop.clickbank.net/">Brain</a> understands better with comparison. <a href="http://ab60ben8iz-gndl65fhdgeqpbj.hop.clickbank.net/">Brain</a> is like an umbrella and it works better when it is open. 20% of body oxygen goes to brain. Brain weighs about 1350-1450 grams. There are 10 trillion cells, 20 billion neurons (nerve cells), and 30,000 genes. One cubic centimeter of brain tissue has one trillion connections like an internet net work. It functions and operates with electrical and chemical impulses. It regulates your body, blood pressure, breathing, heart rate, temperature and is the only organ with auto-regulation. With brain, every thing is a balance of act. Human <a href="http://ab60ben8iz-gndl65fhdgeqpbj.hop.clickbank.net/">brain </a>has enough redundancy and plasticity. <br />
<br />
I hope this gave you an idea of the power of your brain. You can expand your horizons with the power of your brain. There is no limit to it. Just by a thought with your mind you can travel to anywhere in the universe with the blink of your eye. Nothing in the universe can travel faster than your mind and thought.
